Proven Acne Treatments That Work
For acne sufferers that need help now I have gathered some treatments that may just work for you. Acne is treatable but different to each individual, so you may have to try a few of these before you find the one that works for you.
1. Vitamin B5- You may have a B5 deficiency- Acne Specialist link the two due to modern food processing. It’s great for the hair and skin and B5 helps prevent aging and wrinkles.
2. Include more Vitamin E, Vitamin A and magnesium in your diet.
3. Take a multivitamin everyday.
4. Apply herbal supplements like Tea tree oil on the surface.
5. Exfoliate your face at least twice a week to remove all dead skin cells with a gentle sugar scrub. Dead skin cells will clog pores which cause pimples. Do not use anything else as they can tear the skin.
6. Drink plenty of water each and every day to moisturize your skin. Dry skin will produce sebum or oil, which is a leading cause of pimples.
7. Exercise every day.
8. Hold ice cubes wrapped with a cloth to your acne for about 10 minutes. This will shrink the acne.
9. 50% Vinegar and 50% Salt Water Solution – Dab the acne with a cotton ball. Let it sit for 10 minutes or so. Rinse and repeat three times daily.
10. Honey Mask and Salt Water- Honey has natural antibacterial properties. Apply raw honey to your face several times a week or mix it with salt water and apply on a daily basis.
11. Include more Zinc and Vitamin C to your diet.
12. Eyedrops will reduce the redness around your acne.
13. Always remove your makeup before going to bed. Makeup will clog pores and produce pimples.
14. Minimize your caffeine intake. Coffee, sodas and alcohol are the culprit. Caffeine can dehydrate the skin and stimulates the hormone androgen that produces sebum, the oil that causes pimples.
15. Use anti-acne medications with benzyl peroxide.
16. See your dermatologists for Laser treatments. It can be expensive though.
